cupcake

scottie came over tonight and we had a very nice night. well, i did anyway. i think i probably yammered on too much but he's used to that from me i think.

b loved having the extra attention and they played with his flash cards. b really knows a lot of words! lots and lots of words and i don't know how he knows any of them.

we drank a bottle of cupcake sauvignon blanc and it was delish. i love the bottle and i love the wine. sweeter than what i normally drink but it suited my mood.

big news at work. a promotion of sorts. a promotion in theory, not in compensation. i'm so excited. something i've wanted for a long, long time. lots more work, lots more responsibility.
