hard rain

sleepy tonight.  it's been a long week.  still, i cannot believe it is may.  i hardly remember april at all.

meeting for work today.  serendipitously, my first cousin once removed was there.  amazing that he recognized me.  especially considering that i do not go by my maiden name.  we calculated that it's been twenty years since we've seen each other.  TWENTY!  makes me feel old old old even though i know i'm not.  

yard work this evening, then watched the order of myths, a lovely documentary by margaret brown.  ready for bed now and wondering what i will do with my child on such a rainy weekend.
