fly me to the moon

had a lovely evening in the garden with b last night.  we planted many things and i'm hopeful that they'll grow and grow and grow.  corn, beans, pumpkins, watermelon.

strange day today, overwhelming in ways, thoughts weighing down.  i want to be able to stay home, sit in the yard, play with my  kid and talk to my husband.  not in the mood for much else.  a little bit of spring fever and a little bit of something else.

nice night out with mom and number three tonight.  laughing and singing and remembering.  long night drives with the family, don mclean, anticipation.  station wagon, windows down, each to his own thoughts.  comforting memories.
