grassmarket

today we thought we might attempt hadrian's wall, but the logistics just didn't work out.  decided instead to take our chances traipsing around town, trying to get lost.  ended up spending lots of time in grassmarket.  found a charming yarn shop and bought some yarn and a pattern there to make a sweet little bear for b.  going to start this evening.

spent a great deal of time at the writer's museum as well.  made me want to read treasure island again.  did not realize what an adventurous live robert louis stevenson truly did lead. love this quote:
