tartine

finally had an excuse to tackle the devils food cake from my tartine cookbook.  had a ball making it and quite enjoyed eating it.  the thing took two days to put together and i'm sure it weighed at least 15 pounds.  i want to say it was more than twenty, but that might be an exaggeration.  that's what over 30 ounces of chocolate will get you.

ok, i exaggerate a lot.  it probably weighed like eight pounds.  still.  it was really heavy!
