that feeling

like the hours after thanksgiving dinner.  you're warm and sated but also a little sad.  the big event is over; family is returning home.  that's how i feel today.  the wind is howling, the birds are crying and i'm missing b and mmm terribly.  missing tew as well.  

perhaps too much in the way of down time today.  

alternating between reading, knitting and sketching a bit.  haven't sketched in years.  quite rusty, but inspired nonetheless.  

someone speaking french in the garden below.  can only make out bits and pieces.  rusty at that as well.
