anticipation

bursting with excitement thinking about the europe trip. six days! six!!!!

in one week i will be stepping off a train in inverness. i picture my mother and i making our way through a chilly rain to our apartment. we will dump our belongings and head down the street to tesco to pick up food and drink and other necessities. and then we'll soak it all in.

my goals for scotland follow:

• see a big furry cow
• purchase an obscene amount of yarn
• see as much live music as possible
• learn to at least appreciate scotch whisky

that's it. pretty reasonable, i think.
