two more things

first thing:

i finished knitting my socks!  finally.  they are super comfy and i'm very proud.  

second thing: 100 posts.  that does not seem possible!

clean design and strong coffee

out of bed before six to take brother #3 to the airport.  to make the trip even more worthwhile we stopped at ikea, kohls and a colossal joann fabrics on the way back.  i am exhausted.  

i think i am going through some kind of creative explosion at the moment.  many projects rolling along and i dreamed up a few new ones today.  most excited about my first attempt at knitting socks.  baby b and i are heading to grammie's this evening to relax and focus on domestic endeavors.  

aside from my crafting treasures, i also picked up these beauties.  cannot wait to wear them.  haven't had a fun pair in a while.

baby blankets make me think of james taylor

working on steph's baby blanket last night and finally realized why i keep effing it up. the pattern is wrong! seriously wrong! not even remotely right! which makes me feel better about my knitting skills, but now i have to find a new pattern and start all the way over. i'm hoping this will end up being for the best and i'm hoping that i can actually finish before the babe arrives.

very busy day at work, fraught with printer turf wars and interdepartmental suspicions. awesome.
