spent the entire day at home with b, playing and baking. i'm in charge of desserts for tomorrow and everyone has a different request. gave up on the idea of getting it all done this evening somewhere around 9 pm. baby, i'm tired.
made an incredible-smelling maple walnut cake that i cannot wait to tear into tomorrow. i love the way it looks and i am fairly confident that i'll love the way it tastes. b, of course, helped with the misker and the food processor.
took the kid outside to play in the snow before it all went a way. beautiful cool and quiet with a mottled grey sky.
i loved this day.
