i have listened to kevin devine's album "put your ghost to rest" nearly every day for the past year. i don't get tired of it. it's not one of those "i discover something new every time i listen" situations either. it's pure, unadulterated affinity for a simple group of songs.
it's the words, his shaky voice, and the memories it evokes. memories from yesterday or memories from years ago.
love is an understatement.
