how the fall is coming down.

first official day of autumn. smells like it, too. walked on the trail at lunch and passed by a patch of goldenrod and purple asters. wish i'd had my camera. such a perfect explosion of color.

getting anxious waiting for thursday. can't settle or focus. just want to go. but much to do before we take off.
