going native

found a shopping mecca this afternoon, and that means a lot coming from me.  shopping is not really my thing.  but today we found treasures.  treasure upon treasure.  i think seeing all the young girls dressed so cooly in their punk attire has gotten to me.  i bought purple tights.  PURPLE TIGHTS!  and this hat, which i absolutely love.  i can wear hats.  not everyone can pull off a hat, but i think i can .

relaxing now, waiting for my pork roast and veggies to come out of the oven.  parsnips!  love parsnips.

still loving this place so much.  it's like i've been here before.  people are incredibly friendly; you hear laughter everywhere you go.  i suspect it's because most of them are drunk all the time.  maybe that's where i get it....
